Founded in 1961, the Society of Tympanuchus Cupido Pinnatus, Ltd. (STCP) is the oldest conservation organization dedicated to conserving and restoring native prairie grouse populations. Originally focused on saving the prairie-chicken in Wisconsin, and in the interest of its’ future, STCP has expanded its scope to address the increasing concerns of prairie grouse populations across North America.
